Dj and Trisha have been committed to each other long before saying "I do." With their family and careers already started, they took this day to recognize their love and their promise to each other. They had their ceremony in the church DJ grew up in near Brandon, Florida and even though the pews weren't packed it didn't make this wedding any less special. They knew that they always wanted an intimate ceremony by first toying with the idea of eloping in the Florida Keys. They then decided to stay local and to then have a large dinner celebration with family and friends.
It's very easy when planning a wedding to get caught up in catering, center piece decorations and choosing the font on the invitations. While I do love photographing and being part of a wedding with 100+ guest and an 10 hour work day for me, it is important to remember what this day is truly about and what it represents. For all of those who are planning a wedding, take a moment to remember why you are getting married and that the most important thing is actually the person next to you at the alter.
