The last year has been full ups and downs but Covid-19 was not going to stop Andrew and Leana from getting married! These two are very close friends to me and when they started planning their wedding, having me be their photographer was something I was already planning and a wedding I was eagerly counting down the days to.

Having been married for more than one and half years, I think their wedding photos deserve another look and for us to fawn over their beautiful images! The day started off with the bridal party getting ready at the hotel and arriving at the church for Sarah to get fully dressed and for one last toast from her excited bridesmaids before meeting Kevin at the altar. The night ended with an exciting sparkler send off after a evening of dancing and celebrating at the Wentworth Country Club.

Typically I have never had an issue with weddings falling on holidays but if you’re in Tampa then you should know that there is very special holiday for us in January. Yes, Gasparilla! Brian and Barbara got married earlier this year…

Did you know that couples who do their engagement session in one of the Bay Area's county/state parks are four times more likely to get amazing photos?I'm pretty sure Jon and Meredith read that same study because there are so many stellar shots of these two enjoying the afternoon at Lettuce Lake Park near the University of South Florida.

Daniel and Asa's cloudy day engagement photos in the heart of Downtown Tampa are a great example that a blue sky is not always the best sky. I'm not going to lie, but I think their photos came out amazing and they're a good indication that the wedding at the Straz Center will be equally picturesque! I can not wait!

I first met Mike and Colleen when I did their family portraits about one year ago and I was grateful when I got the message that they wanted to schedule another session with me. I knew that they loved the photos we created last November and they felt comfortable and confident in me for a second session.

When Tyler and Katie came to me to photograph their wedding I was very excited for a few reasons. Knowing them personally, I knew that their wedding was going to be beautiful, elegant and if Katie had any say in it, every detail was going to be perfect! The Tampa Garden Club is a well know venue for its lush garden ceremony location and spacious lawns right across from the water on the icon Bayshore Boulevard. I was excited to photograph in such a distinctive Tampa location.

Matt and Claire's story began a long time ago, even before they actually knew each other. They both grew up in the St. Petersburg suburbs and their families were in the same baseball leagues, where Matt played with one of Claire's older brothers. A little later, they found themselves working at the same health food store, becoming work friends all while not knowing that this was the start of something more than being just work associates. Their paths diverged as college progressed but Matt and Claire found each other yet again and we already know how this story ends.

For months running up to their wedding, Tori kept a close eye on all of my social media posts. As they counted down the days, I could tell the excitement was building. That also meant that I had to be at my best and exceed all of their expectations. I don't like to gloat but I know I did exactly that! They held their wedding and reception at Laurel Oak Country Club in Sarasota, Fl. Unfortunately, the day did started off rough with heavy rains and severe lightning striking all around the golf course. Tori was never worried about it and Trent and his groomsmen continued their party while getting ready. There was a back up plan and the staff took care of everything. We had the ceremony indoors but during our formal photo session we were soon ready to go back inside to escape the humidity. From the start, the wedding went off without a hitch and if it's any indication of Trent and Tori's future, then they have nothing to worry about!

Say "Hello" to David and Ryan but don't forget a treat for Brew! This young family wanted me to help them announce their pregnancy with these photos. We met at Al Lopez Park in Tampa right before sunset and spent our time exploring the park, talking about our families and letting Brew investigate plenty of new smells. They don't know if they are having a boy or a girl as of now, so we will be on the look out for any updates in the near future. David did tell me that he already has four young nieces and having a boy would be a nice addition and help continue the family name. Brew was such a handsome little pup and he is definitely ready to be a "big brother". I can't wait to watch this family grow and you might see them again in nine short months!

If I had to describe Fabian and Gabby's wedding in one word it would be energetic! With a rented villa right on the beach in Clearwater, the ceremony and reception had a great view of the sunset as they danced and celebrated into the night. Gabby easily wins the award for the longest veil that I have personally photographed and Fabian was so sincere and loving to his now bride. The wedding continued as normal and every one was enjoying themselves, then La Hora Loca started! This was a first for me at any kind of event and I hope that it is not my last. Stilt walkers, beads, loud music, balloons and even a jester that made sure everyone kept moving made this wedding one for the books.

I was first contacted by the bride's sisters looking for a wedding photographer. They were originally planning on having a small ceremony at their vacation house but as more and more people were invited, they knew it was going to be a full day and a packed house! The ceremony was on the lake right next to the house. As Sonny and Rachel finished their vows, we could see storm clouds rolling in and the wind started to pick up. With an abridged ceremony, we managed to get back inside without feeling a drop of rain. Everyone there was incredibly nice and they welcomed me as part of the family. I don't want to give the Sonny too hard of a time but I was very touched when I saw him start to tear up towards the end of the ceremony. I wish the best to Rachel and Sonny!

About a week ago my girlfriend Julie and I took a road trip to Northern Georgia. We stopped in Stone Mountain, Helen, and Hiawassee. It was a week full of hiking, sight seeing, and even some whitewater rafting. I was torn between relaxing and enjoying a new place while the photographer in me just had to get that perfect shot.

I now pronounce you Bride and Bride! I was very touched to be able to photograph Nadia and DeAndra's wedding. You could see the excitement on every one's faces through out the ceremony. Even the oncoming down pour couldn't wash away the smiles as we packed up and ran for cover. Besides, isn't rain on your wedding day suppose to be a sign of good luck? Congratulations again to a wonderful couple! Saying "I do" with friends in front of them and a beautiful sunset behind them. Having shot on Siesta Key's beaches twice now, I can say that this place is starting to grow on me. Beautiful beaches and some great restaurants in the Village. If you're looking for some place new, why not take a day trip down to Siesta Key!

Introducing Caleb and Priscilla Crall. With hair and make up starting at 6:15 am, these two were surrounding by love ones through out their entire wedding day and I could tell they wouldn't of had it any other way. Their ceremony was on the beach within MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fl. With a seaside theme they said, "I do" with their toes in the sand and an amazing view of Tampa Bay. Of course my favorite part was the brunch buffet with all the bacon you could eat.

I knew Josh from marching band at University of South Florida and I was so excited when he asked me to be the photographer for their wedding. Josh and Domonique said, "I do" at Laurel Wood Gardens in Dade City, Florida in May of 2016. They had a traditional ceremony with a rustic backdrop, a string quartet and personal honey samples, sipping wine and watching the sun set on the country side made their wedding one for the books. One of my favorite touches was that Josh home brewed mead in recognition for their mutual love of the Renaissance Fair that comes to Tampa once a year. Covering their wedding was so much fun and I can't wait to for my next wedding at this venue! After finishing their wedding I realized how fortunate I am to be based in Tampa. Sunset lit beaches, black tie events downtown, and rustic farm weddings can all be done. There is truly something for everyone and it can all be found right around the corner.

Easter came to me around this time last year, so when April 2nd finally came around I knew she was very excited and could not wait any longer to marry Rick. Their intimate wedding was right on the lake in Land O' Lakes, a suburb north of Tampa. This was no small event by any means. With plenty to eat and drink, their family and friends danced to the very end and no one wanted to go home. Rick is a true gentleman and made sure every one was having just as much fun as he was, while Easter looked beautiful and made sure I was taken care of! I wish our newlyweds the best.
